Parkway Baptist Church Student Ministry exists to make disciples of students in 7th-12th grade by helping them grow in their knowledge of, love for, and obedience to Jesus. This happens by instructing students in the Word, cultivating relationships with fellow believers, and leading students to serve the church.

Get Involved

A disciple is a learner. Literally, the word disciple means a “student”. We want to cultivate hearts that desire to grow in faith not just for a season, but for a lifetime. PBC Students have several opportunities to be involved in our weekly ministries. These ministries are designed to help students grow in their understanding of God's Word and their faith.

SUNDAY SCHOOL

Come study the Bible with fellow students. Student Sunday School meets on campus every Sunday morning at 9 AM. All groups are studying Lifeway’s current Explore the Bible series.

SUNDAY NIGHT STUDENT GATHERING

During the spring and fall semester on Sunday evenings, students meet on campus from 5:30-7:30 PM. This is game night mixed with Bible study. We play our favorite games and then study in depth a text from the Word of God.

STUDENTS4LIFE

On Wednesday nights during the spring and fall semester Parkway offers a fellowship meal at 5:30 PM for everyone. Afterwards, Students4Life begins at 6:30 PM, where students gather in the upper room to grow in their understanding of the gospel. Topics vary from fundamentals of the faith to in-depth doctrinal discussions.

SPECIAL EVENTS

Throughout the year, PBC Students participate in several ministry events, including discipleship weekends, mission trips, and summer camp. Dates vary annually, so be on the lookout for more info each quarter. We hope you’ll plan to join us!

The desire of the PBC Student Ministry is not to replace the main means of discipleship but to cooperate with parents in discipling students. In fact, we love for parents to participate in our  ministry activities and events. It is our desire to help parents in any way by providing them with God-honoring resources that will help them in this discipleship adventure.
