Learn4Life Begins October 18

Posted by James Carroll on

Our Wednesday evening gatherings this fall have been a great blessing to me. I’ve appreciated Larry’s hard work to expand the menu for the fellowship meal and so many others who have chipped in to serve alongside him. Key adult leaders continue to invest in our young people by serving as hosts for our Parkway Passengers and as leaders in KidZone and SWAT. It’s also been joy to meet with all adults in the Fellowship Hall for a time of singing, study, and small group discussion. As has been our custom for the past several years, we won’t meet for the first two Wednesdays of October as many of our families will travel during the schools’ fall break.

When we reconvene on October 18, the meal, KidZone, and SWAT will continue as it has been for the past seven weeks. The plan for adults will combine aspects of our regular Learn4Life schedule and aspects of what we’ve done this fall. We are asking all adults to gather in the Fellowship Hall for a brief word of encouragement and prayer. This time will help us transition to the five classes we’ll be offering for the final seven weeks of this semester. I’m excited about the courses and wanted to share information about them so you can make plans to join us.
