Local Partners

To maintain focus and effectiveness, a vital aspect of our missions strategy is to establish and maintain ongoing partnerships with churches and organizations to make disciples. These relationships are long term and holistic with both parties vested, involved, and connected. We evaluate each opportunity on a case-by-case basis and define our level of involvement and support using a three-tier structure.

  • Level One Partners receive consistent prayer support, regular funding, frequent short-term trips, and additional resources as needed.
  • Level Two Partners receive consistent prayer support, funding for special projects, and occasional short-term trips.
  • Level Three Partners receive consistent prayer and project-specific support.
Bread for Life, Bardstown - Level One

One of the primary purposes of partnering with this local non-profit is to help meet physical needs of those within our own county. Our desire is to also expose Parkway members to a local ministry in which they can give their time and financial support and sustain this ministry. This non-profit located at 219 E. Muir in Bardstown services all Nelson Countians and offers a food pantry that permits clients to shop for their groceries.

Through this partnership we are helping to place copies of the Bible in schools and colleges, prisons and jails, hospitals, and medical offices.

Crossing Church, Bardstown - Level Three

We are blessed to co-sponsor Crossing Church, Bardstown. This church planting partnership is an answer to our prayer as we have been burdened to plant a church in this area of our county for years. As we have prayed for God to do this work, He was stirring the same passion in others. By His grace, God brought three distinct groups together Spring 2014 with a similar passion for planting a church in the same place. Crossing Church launched on August 10, 2014 in the cafeteria at Thomas Nelson High School.

Bluegrass Christian Academy - Level Three

Founded in 2004, Bluegrass Christian Academy is a non-denominational, Christian day school dedicated to providing a quality education with rigorous academic standards from a Biblical perspective.
